Gray (Drab) feathers. 17" long (9" head with 8" stained hardwood handle made of birch) A popular-sized duster with longer feathers. Gray feathers are exclusive to the mature (3-4 years old) female birds, and come from the long growth on the part of the wings as they near the body. Gray feathers are not as soft as the "black" feathers which come from the male birds. Hand made from fine, washed and treated ostrich feathers.
